Spring is here—your body is ready to release

HAPPY SPRING! There’s a shift that happens this time of year that we don’t always consciously notice… but the body feels it. After the slower, more inward energy of winter, spring begins to stir something new. Energy starts to rise. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this season is connected to the Liver - responsible for the smooth flow of energy, emotions, and detoxification in the body. Which means this isn’t a time to push harder or “force” a cleanse… It’s a time to support what your body is already trying to do. I’ve been leaning into this myself lately, and I made a simple meal last week that felt like exactly what my body needed: a warm lentil dish with broccoli and fresh cilantro. It was a recipe I made during a cooking demo I did a couple weeks ago as guest presenter for the Madison Herb Society. My talk was on the nutritional benefits of herbs. It was perfect for spring. Here's the recipe: Broccoli and Red Lentil Detox Soup.pdf Here’s why these foods are so powerful this time of year: • Lentils provide fiber that helps bind and eliminate waste, while stabilizing blood sugar so your system isn’t under stress • Broccoli (and other cruciferous vegetables) support the liver’s natural detoxification pathways and help the body process what it no longer needs • Cilantro is known for its ability to help move stagnation and support elimination But beyond nutrition… what really matters is how your body feels when you eat and move. Spring is a time to release, to listen, and to make space for what’s next. That’s why I’m so excited to introduce The Alignment Reset: Spring. This is a 5-week guided experience to help you support your body, clear what’s stagnant, and reconnect to your energy, emotions, and natural direction. It includes:
Bonus: Personalized embodiment practices and reflection prompts based on your Human Design Centers, so you can release and reset in a way that’s uniquely aligned with your body. Live Calls: Tuesdays at 6–7 PM Central Time, April 7th – May 5th.
Who This Is For: Those who are ready for a reset that supports the body, not overrides it and who want to feel more clear, grounded, and aligned this spring.Julie |
